It was founded more than 35 years ago by the German Jan Kuhlmann, then taken over by Fritz Merk and Pit Süssmann in 2002 and has since been radically modernised and expanded.

Under Pit Süssmann’s management a unique control system for quality protection for crocodile farms has been developed and implemented.
This is state approved and now serves the state authorities as reference and guideline for new applications for the authorization of similar enterprises.
